Cedric, I am so sorry for your loss. I was on the ferry with you and Cab, and Cab introduced us. I can’t believe he’s gone. I am amazed at your being there with him at the end. He truly lived life large and did more in his short life than most will do in a lifetime. Your pictures remind me that being in the mountains is living, that is where I feel most alive, even with death lurking around the corner. Cab would certainly concur.
I hope you will return some day, to honor Cab, to honor your own life, to honor Mother Earth. My heart aches for you, for me, and for our broken hearts. Karen

Embrace the life.

Thank you for sharing your story about your trip with Christian. I hope you are healing well. I went to school and swam with cab. My heart broke when I heard the news. He was one of the most genuine person I knew. Reading your article….there are no words… My heart broke again but was warmed by your words. Your Photos are amazing…your last Photo together….no words. I hope that you continue to heal and know cab is with you.
