red rocks

For the first time this year i went to red rock, Nevada. I went many times in Vegas in total ignorance of what is behind the strip. It was a very delightful discovery. At the end of one of those infinite boulevard lays some of the most beautiful sand stone rock formation. In  all shades of red . The red in contrast with  the catus’s green  against the blue sky is just magical. The climbing is outstanding , steep and holdy. It is like climbing a gigantic  millenaire sculpture. shaped by time and weather. It is also quite something to be in the middle of the desert all day, you feel like you are a thousands miles from anywhere but the after climbing is happening in a vegas casino, drinking mohito, talking to hookers or jumping off skyscrapers… 😉
